The Story of Tui.

Top Of The Lake::SERIOUS SPOILERS BELOW.

TV show: "Top Of the Lake' do not read if you want to watch it first.


Tui is a girl.  She is the first girl pictured in the previous thread.Asian girl on a horse ,with a big gun.I think the word Tui is the native word for Kiwi-bird . She is a 'kid in New Zealand .Scene one , Tui leaves home for school , but misses the bus and walks to a near by lake. She slowly walks into the freezing Lake, as if to kill herself . Some lady finds her and saves her and takes her to school. She goes to the nurse who undresses her, the nurse  finds shes 4.5 months pregnant.

Tui is 12 years old.

She is taken to the police station. She is questioned by a female detective .This lady is the real star of the show. The show is all about her, not so much about Tui. The detective asks Tui to write down the name of the babies father, Tui only writes"NO ONE" .

Tui's father is told of the pregnancy by the head detective. It is clear from the beginning that her father and the head detective guy know each other well.The father is some Biker-gangster guy, and the head detective seems to be his friend.(turns out they are friends)

         Tui's dad is the big-shit drug dealer of the whole mountain area . His bathroom has a secret tunnel that leads to a high-tech Meth lab. The detective leaves, and the father goes upstairs to talk to his pregnant 12 year old. He only asks her "What were you doing in the Lake ?"..."Were you trying to kill yourself , or the Baby ?"Tui doesn't answer, she just grabs one of the Rifles off the wall and points it at his chest . He tells her "that gun wont kill anything but a Bunny Rabbit. " and then tells her she should aim for the head, (moves the barrel to his forehead)

The next day Tui runs away. She takes a horse, a tiny dog, and a big-ass rifle with her.First she goes to a strange "Commune of woman" who live at a Lake near the top of the mountain . It does not seem to be the same lake that Tui walked into at the beginning. its called "Lake Top" . The woman are getting "Therapy" at this commune. From a very strange 'Guru woman" who is played but , Tui only stays one night then goes into the woods, ...up the mountain ,...all by herself.... 4 and a half months pregnant . Her horse and dog are found later that day, wondering around .

Skipping ahead: 4 months.

Tui is being feed by a friend of hers , A young guy in a blue Hoody .  The Detective lady cant seem to "pin down"  this kid , even though they know hes helping Tui.. The Female detective is now  Quite obsessed with finding Tui and with ''Tui herself'' , She almost seems like Tui's  'starker' . She hates the Head Detective guy and she hates Tui's Father . She has known both men all her life. She grow up in this same town with them.

     She has a boy friend(both about 30 years old) who's also a cop in this town. She and this guy were high-school sweet hearts . Until one night, after a dance, when she was raped by  4 grown men..She was 15, and her present boyfriend was her date that night, he was also 15.  This Boy friend is the son of The drug-dealing father of Tui. Tui is his half sister. The cop-boy-friend and The drug dealing father hate each other.

     The lady detective's mom dies and she gets a call from The drug dealer , telling her he wants to talk. she goes and listens to him tell her that HE IS HER FATHER, Meaning Tui and her boy friend are really her half siblings. It is very clear through the whole story that he head detective guy is "in league" with the drug dealing Father. They are partners some how. It is revealed that the "Lake Top" area is a "Millionaires play ground " Millionaires can get anything they want , around this place. The head detective is part of this play ground. --Protecting drug dealers and pimps .

Meanwhile, Tui and the blue hoody boy, are "found" by some men that Tui's father hired.

They run.
          The boy falls off a cliff and dies. Tui is left with only some old man, who has a book on child birth, (who he is , and where he came from is not clear)he is supposed to help her have the baby in the woods.

Tui is 13 now and gives birth in the woods, squatting next to a log.The old man stand a good distance away and recites from his book. He is much more scared then Tui is.Tui's Father finds her just after she has given birth. He takes the infant and leaves with it.At some point he lays the baby in a hollowed out tree and starts to babble something.Just then , The lady cop and her boy friend cop, (Children of this drug dealer-father)

 show up Behind him . It looks a little like he is pointing his gun at the infant.But this is not clear. Just then Tui shows up behind her father and shouts him in the hart. 

Now remember , Tui and the Lady cop and her cop boy friend are ALL children of this man. And HE maybe the father of Tui's infant.

Tui goes bake to the commune with the baby and the police come and take DNA and try to learn who the father of the Baby is. The head detective shows up with the DNA results and says that the babies father is its grand father, Tui's Dad.

      I will leave the rest ...for you to think about...or watch the show on the net.
                                             

There is one last revelation in the show, But I wont talk about it here.

Information can not be created or destroyed

We know that the energy cannot be created or destroyed but can only be converted in to another form. Does the same also applies to information. Is it possible to create the information out of nothing or destroy it completely without leaving a trace of it. This question is with regard to the consciousness of individuals that suddenly comes into existence at the time of birth and disappears with death.
